Toolmaking (presstools):

Progressing from earlier origins of toolmaking using pencil and drawing board, shapers,die filers, bandsaws and split and ground dies we now manufacture press tools using more advanced methods including cad design, cnc milling and turning, edm drilling, spark erosion and wire erosion.Supported by modern methods, final grinding, fitting, tool assembly, proving and tryout remain constant in achieving a high quality tooling standard.

Press Tool Variants:

We design and manufacture multi progression, pierce and blank, pierce and crop, blank and draw, swage, mandrel pierce, form and compound pierce and blank tools. Tooling can be designed for cut blank, strip, and coil fed material applications to suit customer requirement and product volume.
Class of tool build is determined at quotation stage and is dependent on customer requirements and specification, product life and volume, budget and project objectives

Fixtures:

In addition to press tooling we also design and manufacture a variety of fixturing including location, assembly, welding, checking, marking/engraving, spin rivetting, tapping and cnc machining. Also positional/checking gauges and special purpose machine applications.
