After
initial presswork, machining and finishing processes we
assemble components to customer specification using a number
of methods including hand assembly, rivetting, pressed
insertions, spot welding, spin rivetting and swaging. We
use a variety of fastenings and inserts where required
including press fit studs, self clinching fasteners, manganese/steel/copper
rivets, hank bushes, rosan nuts, springs, rollers and washers.
Some assemblies are then subject to further operations such as precision grinding, milling, sizing, gauging and polishing before packing and despatch.
